Actually, Chie-san, would you mind if I asked Maka if she might want to come with us? I've been staying in Olivine with her ever since Kirikou-kun went home...and I didn't want to leave her by herself. It's okay if not, I just thought it would be nice to ask.

[He honestly probably could have left a while ago, but that would have meant staying in hotels and such...and rooming with someone else has been pretty good for him, considering.]

Losing? Not really...if I lost, there wouldn't really be much I could do about it then.

Even if you've only got one badge, you've been here for a while. I'm sure you could steamroll them if you have a couple of level 100 Pokémon.

Mm...you do have a point. Rikki, Phantom, and Carrie are all at level 100 by now, and some of my others are close.

I don't have a single badge.

Not one, huh...though, I guess being a breeder, you wouldn't need to worry about getting HMs and things like that. I keep forgetting.

Exactly. All I need to do is borrow HMs from other people.

Other than getting the HMs and having stronger Pokemon listen to you, badges seem to be mostly for bragging rights anyway, I think.
