they only come out after dark, but I've been able to distinguish a few pretty easy- I'd say there's a pretty big group of them here. More then the Clefairy for sure
I haven't seen this so called 'sinister glow' the dex mentions- they do glimmer when light hits them like a cat's eyes though. They were pretty skittish when I first got here too
I'm thinking about it. Sota says a few are thinking about leaving the cave to explore but are worried about having enough gemfood.
[Oh, well, that's good to hear. As long as you don't let your soul get stolen or something, Neku.]
Right...I'm sure that would be a concern. The one trainer I spoke with who owns one as his starter said that it's hard for him to get his Sableye to eat much else.
[He had a litwick his first time here bro, he's fine]
makes sense. I read they WILL eat pokefood, but it's harder to get wild caught one's to switch over. I'd guess you'd have to feed hatched ones some too. so they'd form their gems correctly.
That's something I was wondering before. That if perhaps someone had the funds to do so, if feeding a Sableye one certain type of gem and nothing else would influence how they form at all. But as interesting as it is, it might be more trouble than it's worth. ...and expensive.
[...well, it sounds like there's a story, there. He won't press Neku about it unless he opens up on his own, though.]
Ghost types interest me quite a bit. I only own one right now, but reading about them is always interesting. It's like most of them came straight out of horror novels, really.
I only have one: Honedge. But she's more Steel in her behaviors I think, then anything really scary.
Though you gotta think, since we can breed them they're probably not really dead or human spirits like the dex says. which makes being around them a little less creepy
I don't mind. It's apparently happened to a few folks before but it's not super common. And sometimes people will come back but not remember being here before.
When I first came here I was. Because I had more of a life here. But when I came back my life back home was a lot better, so I'm pretty conflicted about it. I wouldn't want to live here forever. But I like it here too.
[And that's all to say: he personally doesn't like to think of himself pre-Game much. And he's talked to people who come from awful circumstances outside the pokemon world. He can't judge]

[A few more pics: of a small group of sableye eating stones, showing the matching stones on their backs]

[He hasn't forgotten about what the Pokedex says about them, after all.]
Are you going to try to catch one?

Mine is a Litwick. He's...honestly far less creepy than most of the other Pokemon I have.

[...though he doesn't want to pry too much, he can't help but send another text after the first.]
You've been here more than once?

[Well, no, that's...not totally true. He's heard of something similar, but not quite that exactly.]

I do, too. I think it has a lot to do with how things are for a person, back home.
And since you told me...I honestly wouldn't mind staying here, to tell you the truth.

There's nothing wrong with that
