Thank you. He's actually...probably one of the calmest Pokemon I have, so far. It's just the...giant bug thing that I'm going to have to try to get used to.
[He's actually a little glad he has fair warning about the evolution now, but now he's torn between looking up the thing and just waiting to see what happens.]
I've been trying to work with an Absol and a Roselia lately; it's been going surprisingly well, all things considered - I don't tend to have much luck with recently-hatched things.
Usually - I tend to find it easier to work with wild Pokémon who already have some sort of life experience, rather than raising them by hand. I'm not the nurturing sort, to put it lightly; I don't really have the patience or the disposition for it, I think.
It's good that training your hatched Pokemon seems to be working okay, then. I don't mind them, myself...most of my other Pokemon hatched from eggs, and all.
[Not counting Carrie, but we all know what happened with Carrie.]
I don't think I'm going to let him out in my room anymore though until he's less...inclined to try to put everything in his mouth.
[Which is the nice way of saying Angmar has practically eaten a hotel pillow and by the time he started trying to snack on Kaneki's books he decided that was about enough of that.]
[If the dragon doesn't eat anything else, hopefully...not a lot...]
It actually isn't as bad as I thought it would be. He doesn't seem overly aggressive, just...really curious. I just hope that doesn't change when he evolves.
Fortunately, from what I've seen their core personalities don't tend to change very much; the one I started with doesn't have an evolved form, but several I've raised since have done it, and they remained fairly steady.
...Unfortunately, in the case of some of them. But so it goes.
If that's your starter and it's the particular species I think it is, then it probably shouldn't meet mine - I suspect Rikki and Alessia have some sort of blood feud going on.
At any rate, we won't have to be concerned about their paths crossing for a while; I'm going to be leaving the city shortly. Not moving on entirely, but escorting someone I know elsewhere. I imagine Banjou-san can handle anything you may happen to need in the meantime.
Well...it does seem to explain a lot. She nearly broke my Gear trying to fight a pair of them on the screen alone. I don't think I would like to see what she would do if she ever came across one in person.

How has your training been going?

[His first and probably last for a while, but he did the thing and therefore no one can criticize him.]

Ah, tres bien - congratulations! I've been raising a few reasonably new ones myself, though I haven't tried that particular species myself.

Ah...what new Pokemon do you have?

Well, he...hasn't hurt me yet, or anything.

[how much is Tsukiyama going to owe this hotel
he is still paying for this]

[No one actually told him this. Huh.]
I take it her disposition hasn't improved any.

[He's not sure how releasing her might have gone. ..she may have literally tried to track down her original captors for revenge, who even knows.]
And, um...no.
She doesn't get along very well with most of my Pokemon, especially my starter.
no subject
Ah, sorry about that - she wasn't very happy with us, our capturing method was a little abrupt.

...in her defense, I don't think Rikki likes anyone.

[...speaking of "oh dear."]

...well that's not good.]
She's a Zangoose. I had just figured she didn't get along with any Pokemon, really, but...I found that out the hard way.
[In that she tried to attack a pair of Seviper through his Gear, recently.]
I don't understand why, though...is that just something to do with the species?

Seviper are snakes, aren't they? She...really does not like them whatsoever.
