That wouldn't surprise me. A lot of the books I've read here have had their stories altered to fit Pokemon in...and a lot of the time they don't come out fully intact.

...I wonder how badly they've butchered The Silence of the Lambs.

I haven't read that one yet, but...I think it's called The Silence of the Mareep, here.

I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case... They've probably removed the cannibalism, too.
