Yeah, to look around. Apparently they only teach Pokémon related things there.

Really? Just about Pokemon?

[That seems strange...yet he really shouldn't be surprised.]

They really do seem to take training and stuff seriously here...it seems like that's pretty much the one thing most children are expected to do.

Yup. I'm not surprised, to be honest. Everything in this world seems to revolve around Pokémon.

[samsa]

Yeah, it does. Even the more mundane jobs that don't have anything to do with Pokemon directly...there's always some connection to Pokemon somewhere.

It's so weird... I wonder if there's a single local who doesn't like Pokémon.

[samsa]

I would think that there has to be, somewhere. Even living with Pokemon all your life doesn't guarantee you'll like them...there might even be some people who are afraid of them.

[shuttermouse]

I dunno... [ She shrugs. The locals are kind of weird, she has a hard time imagining any of them disliking the critters. ]

If they exist, they're probably looked down upon.

[samsa]

Mm...maybe. I haven't really thought about it. I'm sure it would be hard though, if you did happen to not like them for some reason. It's not like you would have anywhere to go to get away from them.

Mhm. Even if you became a hermit on a remote mountain, you'd still have wild Pokémon around.

[samsa]

That would be a difficult way to live, in that case.

[shuttermouse]

Difficult and boring. [ She says, as she slurps down the last of her cup noodles and sets the container aside. ]

That was delicious. High in sodium and unhealthy, but delicious.

It looked like it was. I should probably find something for lunch too, sometime.

If you're in the mood for junk food loaded with saturated fat, pick up some cup noodles from the convenience store down the street.

I might just do that. It's been a while since I've had any.

[Then again, even though he's been here for several months now, the novelty of...well, being able to eat things still has yet to wear off on him. Even horribly junky, unhealthy things.]
