[A video starts showing what appears to be the outside space of a café. It's early enough that it isn't too crowded, which is what Kaneki was looking for before actually making this video. He could have gone to the park instead, but where he was now was a lot closer to the Pokemon Center...which he felt he needed to be near for the moment. While it isn't unusual at all for people to have their Pokémon outside of their balls and with them most of the time, he hasn't quite gotten used to it. Namely, he feels it might be a little inappropriate to have such a large bug out where people might be eating.

That large bug in question is flitting near his shoulder; up, down, left, right, and back again. Every now and then it tries to land on Kaneki's shoulder before taking to the air again, a little to large to actually settle there comfortably.]

I caught this Pokémon a few days ago on one of the routes here. My Zangoose injured him pretty badly, so I took him to the Pokémon Center right away. Everything seemed fine after that.

[He looks over to the Yanma, his expression growing worried as the bug tilts his head this way and that, wings a blur as he hovers.]

But...something's wrong. One of the eyes, the right...it's duller than the other. I'm not...sure if he can see out of it. And I know for a fact that Rikki didn't strike him in the face...at- at least not where I could see. I don't know if this could have happened when she fought him, or if it was already there.

Is it...normal to find wild Pokémon like this? I don't know if I should take him back to the Pokémon Center or not, now that I'm noticing it. He doesn't seem to be in pain, but...I'm worried.

Mm, well...I don't think there is a way to go home. Nobody seems to know of a way, at least.

[She looks a bit sad now.]

That's what I thought. I hope Sempai and the others don't miss me too much.

Oh...I do know that time doesn't continue while we are here. So you won't have to worry about that. Things will be just like the way they were when you left.

[She perks up and nods.]

Wow! That's amazing! I'm glad to hear that~! So Sempai won't miss me at all!

[He nods.]

If what I've been told is true, they shouldn't. They might even show up here too, one day.

I'd love it if they were here. Especially Sempai!

[She has quite a few friends she would love to have here.]

Well...all of them, I guess.

[Aww... she wanted to gush about her Sempai! But that's okay. She just smiles.]

I love all of my friends~! We've been through a lot together.

[HEY FEEL FREE, he won't stop you.]

Maybe they'll come here soon, then. Do you think they would like it?

Yeah! Sempai is so cool about things, he'd be the best trainer in no time! He's so cool, and really smart, and I love him!

[She goes red after saying this, but she looks absolutely delighted.]

M-My other friends would fit right in here, too, of course.

Of course. There are some friends of mine that I know would really like it here if they ever came.

I can't complain, though. I think I'm making friends here already. There's so many nice people~!

Mhm. Everyone here does seem to be very welcoming.

That's part of what makes this place so nice.

Though everyone seem to be in a place called Goldenrod. Why don't they want to travel anymore?

I think that's because it's such a large city. It has just about everything, and a lot of people have settled here to live...it reminds me of home, a little.

[It's certainly not quite Tokyo, but it's the closest place there is.]

Big cities are nice and all, but I get bored of them eventually. I guess it's because I grew up in sch a small town...

[Home is where the heart is.]

That makes sense. I'm not exactly in the position where I can travel yet, myself...but I don't think I would mind it, if I got the chance.

I'm also excited to travel because of a job I'm trying out for. Finding Pokémon who would make good idols will be hard, but fun~!

[Kaneki smiles slightly, resting his chin in his hand.]

That sounds exciting.

[She nods and can't help but flash an idol smile.]

It is~! I was an idol back in the place I'm from, so I may as well do that here, too~

So it's either that, or become a detective.

Well...this place does allow for people to get a fresh start, if they really want. So you could probably do that, if being an idol doesn't work out.
