[He decides not to ask "what things?" because it could literally be anything. Instead, he puts his thumb into the book to mark his place while thumbing through it a little with his other hand.]
It's a battle strategy guide. I'm...still thinking about challenging the gym here, but I want to make sure I'm ready before I do.
I would think that there has to be, somewhere. Even living with Pokemon all your life doesn't guarantee you'll like them...there might even be some people who are afraid of them.
Mm...maybe. I haven't really thought about it. I'm sure it would be hard though, if you did happen to not like them for some reason. It's not like you would have anywhere to go to get away from them.
I might just do that. It's been a while since I've had any.
[Then again, even though he's been here for several months now, the novelty of...well, being able to eat things still has yet to wear off on him. Even horribly junky, unhealthy things.]

[That seems strange...yet he really shouldn't be surprised.]
They really do seem to take training and stuff seriously here...it seems like that's pretty much the one thing most children are expected to do.

If they exist, they're probably looked down upon.

That was delicious. High in sodium and unhealthy, but delicious.

It looked like it was. I should probably find something for lunch too, sometime.
